Signatures and classics sure to fill holiday wish lists

Everyone is looking for something fresh during the holiday season, and Foot Locker has something for any sneakerhead's wish list. Among new arrivals this season, you'll find current signature sneakers, classic kicks, and a whole lot in between.

Basketball styles

Nike's lead signature athlete, LeBron James, saw his LeBron 12 ($199.99). The latest colorway, Wolf Grey/Black/Electric Green/Reflective Silver, figures to be high on anyone's list. The 12 also features Hyperfuse, which hot-melts layers of mesh on the upper to eliminate stitching and allow maximum strength with breathability. A frosty, translucent outsole features targeted padding where it's needed most, and flex grooves promote natural foot movement.

Another current star, Kevin Durant, gains the Black/Photo Blue/Hyper Crimson/Metallic Silver colorway for his namesake lineup with the Nike KD Trey 5 ($109.99). The upper features durable mesh with Flywire, a lightweight nylon thread that lashes the foot to the footbed for stability in key areas. The Phylon lightweight-foam midsole encases Nike Zoom Air units designed for low-profile responsiveness.

A classic name makes an appearance as well, in the Nike Chuck Posite ($229.99). Available in Metallic Silver/Black with a frosty outsole, the Chuck Posite features a fractal design on the upper that resembles carbon fiber. The upper of this ode to Hall of Famer Charles Barkley includes the Foamposite material that became popular in the late '90s, as well as a Lunarlon dual-density foam midsole for cushioning that adjusts to the load you put on it.

Under Armour gets into the game with the Clutchfit Drive ($124.99). The upper features UA's Clutchfit weave, which forms to the contour of your foot, designed for ideal fit, feel, and support. The midsole consists of UA's Micro G low-profile foam, and the outsole has a one-piece rubber herringbone pattern.

Off-court styles

Adidas revives is classic ZX lineup with the adidas Originals ZX Flux ($89.99). A one-piece mesh upper is designed for comfort and includes a welded 3-Stripes logo. The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) heel counter is a callout to the ZX heritage, which began in 1984 with the ZX 510.

The Mizuno Wave Prophecy 4 ($209.99) gains a colorway in the White/Black/Directoire Blue. The rising star of the Mizuno running line features a double Wave plate as part of the midsole/outsole cushioning system, and boasts a camo print on the outsole. The upper features a subtle open-mesh design that underlays a thin mesh layer for breathability that still keeps small debris away from your foot.

For simply stepping out, Nike offers the Flystepper 2K3 ($94.99). With a perforated leather upper, this sleek, minimalist design features twin straps that lock down the foot as well as lend a futuristic aesthetic to the silhouette.
