The adidas Superstar casual shoe was originally introduced in 1969 as the first low-top basketball shoe to feature an all-leather upper and the now-famous rubber shell toe. It quickly became a favorite of the NBA players and has been in production ever since. This style has a full-grain leather upper, fat laces and a rubber toe cap and outsole.
