Performance Apparel
Under Armour was created to fulfil a need for improved sports apparel. In 1996, then 24-year-old founder Kevin Plank was the captain of Maryland’s university football team and “the sweatiest guy on the team.” He noticed his plain cotton T-shirts did a terrible job of absorbing his sweat, but the synthetic shorts he wore kept him dry and comfortable. Things took off from there. Plank quickly researched compression and synthetic fabrics to design a “sweat-wicking” T-shirt that would keep athletes cool and comfortable no matter how hard they played.
The world ate it all up. Soon the orders were rolling in, and the Under Armour brand was born. By the mid-2000s, the moisture-wicking shirts could be seen on nearly every sports field in America. Today, Under Armour not only offers those original undershirts but also a wide range of apparel including shorts, leggings, and accessories that all feature Plank’s patented technology. The brand has created an iconic legacy that inspires athletes both on and off the field.

Accessories for All
While Under Armour may have gotten its start as a purely athletic brand, its apparel and accessories today also double as trendy leisurewear that offers a relaxed yet confident style. Try the classic Under Armour Blitzing 3.0 Cap, which is a stylish yet practical accessory that features a pre-curved visor as well as a built-in HeatGear sweatband to keep you dry and cool throughout the day.
Or you could pick up the Under Armour Sportsmask, which offers full face protection that covers from the nose bridge to the center of the ear and upgrades any outfit with its cool comfort.

Under Armour Extras
The expansive Under Armour collection at Foot Locker isn't just limited to accessories. In addition to the Under Armour Sportsmask and Under Armour Blitzing 3.0 Cap, there is also a wide selection of Under Armour’s technologically enhanced shoes and clothing. Be sure to style them with other Under Armour gear, such as a long sleeve T-shirt, jogger pants or a tank top. You’ll create outfits that will boost your confidence and bolster your every move.
