Classic Jordan Jumpman Pro Shoes

Michael Jordan’s legendary career brought with it a legendary line of sneakers. Just like MJ’s legacy, the sneakers are here to stay. With Michael Jordan’s debut Air Jordan 1 sneaker that broke barriers in the game of basketball with its mostly black and red design, the sneaker still sold out across the country. The silhouette brought with them a hefty fine for its design cues, but ultimately helped usher in a line of Jordan basketball shoes that have not only stood the test of time, but helped reinvent the way the world saw sneakers.

Jumpman Hits the Hardwood

Over the years, Jordan silhouettes have seen numerous design changes, from its lower profile Air Jordan 1 to the Air Jordan 3, which introduced the instantly recognizable elephant print motif seen on the shoe’s upper. It also was the first use of the Jumpman logo – a symbol now seen on Jordan products across the globe. Arms and legs stretched, suspended in air, the ever-popular Jordan symbol was inspired by a high-flying image of Jordan from a photoshoot earlier in his career.

In 1997, the men’s Jordan Jumpman Pro released with the iconic Jumpman logo on the shoe’s upper, tongue, and soles. The Jumpman design was here to stay, and as the first non-numbered Jordan shoe in the “Team Jordan” line, so were Jordan Jumpman shoes. Released in the same season as the Air Jordan 12, the Jordan Jumpman Pro shares a similar leather upper and Zoom Air cushioning needed for the hardwood. The silhouette also hit shelves the same year Jordan became its own standalone brand, and to this day can be snagged in its retro form.

Since the drop of the iconic Air Jordan 3 that brought us the Jumpman design in 1988, the stretched-out logo of a high-flying Michael Jordan can be seen on jerseys ranging from soccer to football. Whether you dominate on the hardwood or not, you can snag Jordan hoodies and Jordan pants to pair with your favorite Jordan drip. With sizing for men’s, women’s, kids’, and even toddlers, everyone can get fitted in a pair of Jordan sneakers.
