One of our favorite reasons to fall in love with the 574 Core is the sustainable construction. These kicks meet New Balance’s Green Leaf Standard. This means at least half of the materials used to create the shoe are from a sustainable source.

The uppers use 50% recycled suede and mesh materials, as well as responsibly manufactured leather. And the rubber outsole uses 5% recycled materials. If you want a shoe that is kind to the planet and to your feet, the 574 Core is it.

Beyond its sustainability, the sneaker is also supportive and comfortable. It uses an EVA foam midsole that absorbs the shock impact of each step. The ENCAP midsole technology surrounds the soft EVA foam with a polyurethane rim. This rim ensures a stable and structured feel, while the cushy foam offers supreme comfort and support.
